“History in the Making”

We are thrilled that you desire to learn more about our church family.  Each church has a unique story that includes the local city in which it resides, the variety of people who have served the church in leadership and other capacities, and its particular faith background, tradition, and beliefs. 

The New Braunfels Church of Christ started in 1919 in a local home and has its history in the Stone-Campbell tradition. The movement had an early emphases on Christian unity among all believers, biblical truth, and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.  

The New Braunfels Church of Christ greatly values its historical roots. Yet more importantly, it is our desire to be defined by God's love to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. We are a church in the making, and we continue to pray and be open to the possibilities that God will continue to use us.
