Design and distribute the retreat logo and flyers.
Manage website updates and coordinate in-person announcements at the church to drive interest.
Sign-Up and Registration
Conduct Sunday Morning Signups
Collect check payments and provide to office
Track men attending and payment status
Content Development: Small Group Leaders
Identify and prep leaders to facilitate the afternoon and evening small group sessions.
Partner with Ministry Staff to create a framework for sharing scripture, guiding prayer, and driving actionable takeaways.
Fellowship Activities Coordinator
Organize the afternoon games, including options like horseshoes, volleyball, hiking, and fishing.
Manage the 9:00 PM nightly campfire and team-building activities.
Snacks and Drinks Coordinator
Purchase and transport supplemental snacks and drinks using the designated $15 per person budget.
Manage any extra coffee supplies, keeping in mind the camp already provides coffee between meals.
Van Pool Coordinator
Organize group transportation from NBCOC to Slumber Falls and back, specifically because venue parking is limited.
Coordinate the logistics for the Day 1 afternoon setup crew and the Day 3 morning departure.
Sponsorship Need Coordinator
Explore and secure scholarship opportunities for men who need financial assistance to cover the cost of the retreat.
Who: The goal is for at least 100 Men from NBCOC (and guests), recommend adults only to narrow content, activities, and fellowship opportunity
· What: Meals and bunkhouse lodging (10 people per cabin - showers, but BYO Bedding) included in a venue with sufficient indoor and outdoor activity space (river, horseshoes, volleyball, kitchen, tables, and projector etc.).
· When: January 22-24, 2027 · Where: Slumber Falls Camp and Retreat Center, 3610 River Rd, New Braunfels, TX 78132
· Why: Spiritual development, Learning, Reflection, Lessons (large and small group), Devotionals, Friendship Growth, Team Building Fellowship activities (games, hiking, fishing bonfire – firewood provided, etc.).

Day 1:
· 3-5 Set up (vanpool)
· 5:30 Arrival and cabin assignments
· 6:30 Dinner
· 7:30 Session 1, set expectations and Devo
· 8:30 Small Group Intro
· 9:00 Campfire activities and fellowship
Day 2:
· 7:30 Flag Rasing
· 8:00 Breakfast
· 9:00 Session 2, Content and Devo
· 12:00 Lunch
· 1:00 Activities/Games
· 4:00 Small groups
· 6:30 Dinner
· 7:30 Session 3, Content and Devo
· 8:30 Small Groups
· 9:00 Campfire activities and fellowship
Day 3:
· 8:00 Breakfast (Those that need to participate for in NBCOC Class or worship may have to leave early)
