You’ve heard a fair amount about this church’s Caring and Sharing Fund lately. 

Today, you likely received a flyer about it. See attached document.

The short version of what the Caring and Sharing Fund is that it’s a ministry of this church for helping members who are experiencing financial challenges.

Through the Caring & Sharing Fund, this church has helped its members with mortgages, utilities, medical bills, rent, car repairs, food, and plenty more.

We are here today to tell you that this year’s Caring and Sharing Fund has already been used up. 

The need in five months this year has been greater than the amount of money in Caring and Sharing for the entirety of 2026.

The economy out there is not great, and members of this church are hurting. 

Church, we need to refill those coffers. 

As a church, we need to continue caring for our members who are experiencing financial challenges.

We need $20,000. 

Yeah, that’s a lot of money. But there’s a lot of need. And I know in this church there’s a lot of love.
